S.A.G.E.

There are four different areas that are used to evaluate students for SAGE. We place all four areas in a scale known as a rubric (used by many teachers for assessment). The four categories on a scale of 1-5 are:

  1. Language Arts Renaissance Score
  2. Math Renaissance Score
  3. CSI (similar to an IQ test) - Ranges between 112-130+ Highest 141
  4. Teacher Evaluations (done by grade level teams or inpidual teacher at the elementary level) - Ranges between 1 & 50 check marks on the teacher evaluation sheet.

Additionally:

We admit 10% of the student population (NJ requires we only admit 3% of the population).

The four categories are weighted differently. The CSI and Teacher Evaluations are weighted times two because of their importance in the selection process
