Scoliosis Screening

Scoliosis Screening

New Jersey State mandates that all children between the ages of 10 and 18 be screened for Scoliosis, which is a mild curvature of the spine. This will take place in the spring, and simply involves an inspection of the child's spine by the School Nurse, while they are bent forward at the waist. If you wish to not have your child screened by the School Nurse, you must sign, date and return the Scoliosis Exclusionary Form, which will be posted in the summer mailing and e-blasted again later in the year prior to the screening. (For 7th grade students only)
