PLANNING TO LEARN

The sixth grade faculty wishes to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year!

Proper organization will help you on your path to greater confidence, a better school year, and more time for the things you like to do. In order to experience a solid beginning as you learn to plan, you will need the following school materials the first week of school.

●     Two (2) marble composition books (100 sheets) for Math

●     One (1) spiral one subject notebook for Language Arts

●     Seven (7) three hole punched pocket folders

●     Supply of #2 pencils

●     Pencil Case

●     Eraser Caps

●     Index Cards, lined

●     Two (2) Highlighters

●     One (1) set of colored pencils

●     One (1) pack of large, lined Post-Its for Reading

●     Wired Earbuds (to use with laptop)

●     T.I. Calculator TI30XIIS, Scientific, 54 function, 2 line (may be used all 3 years)

●     Active River Vale Public Library Card

●     Planner (Optional)

Physical Education Requirements:

●     Footwear - Athletic sneakers

●     Sneakers must have laces- Students must wear socks.

Band Student Requirements:

●     Instrument in good working order, proper accessories (ie reeds, valve oil, guitar picks, sticks, etc.) and a box of pencils.
